Airlines of NSW started flying from Sydney to Corryong following the opening of the new airport. Initially three times weekly as an extension of services to Cooma. In 1966 the frequency was twice weekly with flights routed via Wagga Wagga. It later became a connecting service, with sister airline Ansett-ANA flying the Corryong-Wagga using F27s.
