Although looking a bit tattered here, this DC-9 is pictured early in it's flying career. First with Eastern Airlines it was in service December 1967 - January 1988. Sold to Aeronautics Leasing, the aircraft was leased to Northwest Airlines, who bought the airliner off lease in 2004. Retired by Delta Airline shortly after the 2009 Northwest / Delta merger, it was stored at Marana, AZ in March 2010.
