Ex N4543, RCAF 9252, USAAF 44-74543. Adopted the ID of 44-63655 (N6153U) when restored as N5005S in January 1985 due to a paperwork problem with N4543 that made it very difficult to sell with its true ID. (N6153U was written off in a forced landing in Nicaragua on 5 January 1965, and the wreck does not appear to have ever been returned to the USA. The history of N6153U has been incorrectly used as the history of N5500S due to the confusion caused by the adoption of another Mustang's ID.)
