Impounded as an illegal export. Former USAF 54-681. Sold to Darryl Greenamyer in 1987, hence the registration N681DG. He sold it. It was subsequently seized for falsified export paper work and auctioned by US Customs. It was purchased by Harry Doan and Norman Earle. Earle bought out Doan's interest after his death. It was flown to New Smyrna Beach and subsequently sold to an African based relief org. They failed in getting State Department export approval and a lien was enforced. Norman Earle helped Wally Fisk acquire it. It had two more owners and was seized again before it went to Hagerstown Aviation Museum in 2013. Transported by road from Fort Lauderdale Exec, FL to Hagerstown, MD in 2019. This photo is copyright © Paul Seymour, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
