This aircraft still carries its previous Apple Air colours, onto which the "Star Airways Inc." titles were applied in in May 1990. Some sources claim that this was for a movie, but this is not correct. It was officially registered to Star Airways Inc (Dover, DE) on 31 May 1990, but it was never delivered. It remained in storage at North Weald and was cancelled from the civil register in August 1995. It still looked remarkably good at the time of the photo.
