6 Oct '44: Finished as a pathfinder equipped with Bombing Through Overcast (BTO) radar. 16 Oct '44: TOS USAAF with s/n 44-8543. 11/44: Domestic Project 50A. 9/45: 4142nd AAF Base Unit (Air Technical Service Command), Patterson AAF, OH, and converted to TB-17G for weather reconnaissance/electronic countermeasures training. Long history at Patterson Field with R&D and loaned to other testing organizations. 5/59: SOC. Went through many owners and iterations. Still flying as N3701G.
