This is a former American Airlines 720 originally delivered July 24, 1960 with Pratt & Whitney JT3C turbojet engines and later upgraded to a 720B with Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofans. The aircraft was retired by American in 1974. Monarch Airlines would buy the airliner in 1977 and it's pictured on lease to Royal Air Maroc from September 1979 through January 1980. Sold to MAOF Airlines in October 1981, it was retired to Tucson, AZ in January 1986 for KC-135 parts.
