Photo taken by my father Algy Spurr in WW2. Almost certainly FA604 in which case it is Baltimore Mk.4 (Martin A-30A-5) c/n 4291 ex 41-28186 - SOC 19 July 1945. Location believed to be at Biferno, Italy. It seems to be a photo signed by 223 Sqn's crew: R.S. Gray (navigator) and three Rhodesians - S.R. Webber (pilot), R.E. Davison (WOP/AG) and K.G. Peters (AG). This photo is copyright © Brian Spurr, and may not be used or published in any way without permission. It was added on 7 January 2022, and has since been viewed 1936 times. |
