First flight 03 September 1956, delivered to the RAAF a month later. Served with 2 Squadron RAAF in Vietnam as part of USAF 35th Tactical Fighter Wing. Arrived at Phan Rang Air Base May 1967 and returned to Australia in August 1970. Struck off 27 July 1973 at RAAF Amberley and sent to RSTT Wagga Wagga as a training aid, then displayed at the front gate. Now part of the RAAF Forest Hill Heritage Centre collection.
