Air Hong Kong 1989. GAS Air 5N-MAS March 1992, while operating a flight from Luxembourg to Kano with a fulll load 31 March 1992 engine #3 separated in severe turbulence taking #4 with it. In act of exceptional airmanship the crew brought down the aircraft on the runway at Istres even though a wing fire developed on approach. Seen here stripped down for repaint into GAS Air colours.
