Built in 1952 for Eastern. Acquired by Frontier Airways 1982 as an aerial applicator operating out of Sheridan, WY. The operation stopped around 1987 after sister ship N40443 had crashed on take off from Buffalo, WY 27 June 1986 killing the crew and the remaining aircraft where put into storage. Still carries its Ozark cheatline overpainted in gold. Aircraft was dismantled around 2009 and moved to Greybull for storage.
