The personal aircraft of four-star admiral Royal Ingersoll. C-54D 42-10697 was delivered directly to the US Navy as 56511 in May 1945. The aircraft flew for various small civil operators from 1975. Retired in the 1990s and statically preserved at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum, Ellsworth AFB, as 42-10697.
