This 720 was originally delivered to Western as N93145 in July 1962. From August 1978 it became the personal plaything of Sheikh Adham (as HZ-NAA & HZ-KA1) before joining Comtran International as N2143J in December 1989. The plane joined JAR Aircraft Services in November 1991 and was registered N720JR and is pictured taxying out to rw04L for departure. JAR later opertaed the plane on behalf of the Congoese, Malian and Lebanese Governments. However, the plane was dogged by airwothiness and overhaul concerns and the plane was parked/grounded at Malta (MLA) in March 2004 and later scrapped. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
