K25 slide scan. Built 1973 for Sterling. N727BE 1984 for Valsan Super 27 conversion, reverted to OY-SAU for Sterling 1986. Air Columbus CS-TKB 1991, Sterling OY-SAU 1994. Sun Country N290SC 1997, withdrawn Marana 2002 and scrapped. The Valsan Super 27 conversion replaced the two outboard standard JTD8D's with -217 models as used on the MD-80. Due to their larger diameter they could not be fitted in the #2 position. This modification was only available for -200 models and a total of 54 airframes were so converted.
