Canadian Airlines leased this ILFC Airbus February 18, 1992. In the middle of their first cash crunch, the aircraft is pictured being returned to the lessor (only the Canadian flag has been painted out so far). It was leased to Monarch Airlines (G-MONY), with subleases to Canada 3000 (C-GVNY ) during the winters of 1993 - 95. The aircraft returned to Canadian Airlines in 1999 and merged into Air Canada's fleet in 2001 - 06. Lacking space for later leases, the aircraft was bought by the Nantong Institute of Technology in 2016 and flown to China as an instructional airframe.
