This 742 was delivered to Air India in April 1980 and flew its whole commercial life with the airline. It is pictured taxying out for departure home. The plane was scrapped at Mumbai (BOM) in March 2006, although the forward fuselage was saved and is in use at the Thakur Institute Of Aviation Technology in Mumbai.
