This MD-83 was delivered to Spanair in June 1989 and is pictured taxying out to rw18 for departure. The plane flew for the airline with four different registrations (EC-216, EC-EPL, EC-638, EC-FXI) before returning to the lessor in October 2004. It was then placed with Austral as LV-BEG (from March 2006), Orange Air as N926AV (from January 2015) before returning to Argentina once more in June 2017, again as LV-BEG, to fly with Andes Lineas Aereas.
