In 1948 the king of Yemen bought two C-47s in Italy, including this early bird, ex 41-7846 and I-NAVE. It was initially used by Yemenite Airlines, and transferred to Yemen Airlines after its founding circa 1954. YE-AAB crashed in Italy in 1958.
