This is a D-Day veteran (US serial 43-15094, glider towing mission on 7 June 1944 to Sainte-Mère-Église, Normandy) that entered service with the Finnish Air Force 1961. It later was converted to BT-67 (with turbo props) and became C-FMKB. In 2020, this aircraft was still being used to fly scientists back and forth across Antarctica. This photo was added on 19 November 2020, and has since been viewed 430 times. |
