The National Research Council of Canada was formed in 1916 as the Honorary Advisory Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. It's work is mandated in two areas: Research and Technology / Industry Support. This Convair is the largest aircraft in the NRC's aviation fleet. Other types are Bell 206, 205 and 412 helicopters, Extra 300, Harvard Mk.IV, DHC-6 Twin Otter, Falcon 20 and a T-33.
