In May 1950 helicopter flights were organized between London and the British Industries Fair (BIF) in Birmingham. A British Pathé newsreel shows G-ALIK with the same sign and reveals the London terminal to be Harrods Sports Ground. We think that the houses on the right are on its northeastern corner on Verdun Road.
