At the time of the photo, N62086 was waiting to depart on a flight to the Bay Area. Blatz had in 1959 been awarded a two-year approval to operate irregular air services in California and Nevada. This aircraft was later purchased by Blatz by which time it had returned to being a charter operator, notably for Hollywood studios. N62086 was scrapped in the late 1980s.
