VH-EDC was written off after ditching in the shallow waters of Botany Bay immediately off the end of Sydney's runway 16L on April 24, 1994. The 21 passengers, mainly students, and the four crew escaped. -EDC was recovered but was deemed uneconomical to repair due to saltwater immersion.
