Three Auster AOP's of 663 (AOP) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force on a spotting exercise based in a friendly farmer's field in Cheshire. AOP.6 VX121 'A' is left and AOP.5 TJ340 'C' is right. VW993 was later civilianised as a Terrier 1 with c/n 615 as G-ASCD and is displayed at Elvington.
