This is a composite of several Nie 28 fighters. It is painted as the aircraft of Lt James Meissner of the 94th Aero Squadron 'Hat-in-Ring', based near Toul, France in May 1918, but serial 6144 is not applied. This aircraft was formerly registered as N4123A but that was cancelled in Jul-2012. This photo is copyright © Peter de Jong, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
