The LeO H-198 was a catapult-capable version of the H-19 flying boat airliner, intended for a transatlantic air mail scheme. F-AIQP made a forced landing off the Scilly Islands on 13 September 1928 and was reportedly written off, but re-registered to Air Union in April 1929, and here it is seen in China. Photo is dated 1928 but that seems unlikely. Photo from: ETH-Bibliothek Zürich This photo was added on 9 May 2020, and has since been viewed 981 times. |
