Starting life as CX-AOV with PLUNA in 3.54 and enjoying long and varied service including Gulf Aviation, this Heron had recently been registered 9Q-CRL when bought by Channel in 6.69. Soon after, they announced a name change to Air England but this was the only a/c painted as such. Used on feeder services SEN-NWI-EMA. To Peters 5.72 then 5B-CCD, returning to Peters and on to Fairflight in 1977. Bought by Sky of Siam 3.80 as HS-EAA and stored at BKK from 1983; wreck said still to be extant around 2000 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
