This Lancastrian testbed was fitted with two Rolls-Royce Nene turbojets. On 17 November 1946 it flew from Heathrow to Le Bourget for the Paris Air Show with a couple of people on board and some people dare to call this 'the first international jet-powered passenger flight' although the two Merlins were only shut down during cruise.
