This Avro C.19 was registered to Avro in 1945 and was a well-known part of the Southend scene while being used by local firm Ekco from 10.67 with its bulbous nose for avionics trials. Went into the ill-fated Historic Air Museum there and sold for £2800 when it closed; now under restoration at the old Hooton Park Aerodrome, Ellesmere Port This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
