RAAF aircraft A7-14 that was transferred in 1932 to the Civil Aviation Branch of the Defence Department, then responsible for civil aviation. Crashed in 1933 and then struck off the register in 1934. Rebuilt by the RAAF and returned to the CAB in 1936. Sold to the RQAC in 1939 but a year later was back with the RAAF, impressed as A7-85. At some time in RQAC service swapped its Cirrus engine for a Gipsy. Photo from: State Library of Queensland
