The Monocoupe 110 Special was designed in 1931 as a 'cut down' racing aircraft. Wing span reduced from 32 feet to 23 feet. The 125 hp Warner Scarab gave a top speed of 220 mph. This example is preserved in the EAA AirVenture Museum.
