Operated by Qantas on behalf of the RAAF when Japan was still under Allied occupation. The Lancastrians were replaced by DC-4s in 1949 and Australia formally ceased to be part of the occupation in 1951. VH-EAU withdrawn from use in 1952 and scrapped.
