This P-3 was TOC by the USN with the BuNo. 148276. It was the third of three frames modified into a NP-3A for the US Naval Research Laboratory before being transferred to NASA as, firstly, N927NA and then N428NA. It was on display as an outside exhibit at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida although I believe it has now been scrapped.. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
