"Miss Goosebay" is Uwe Förster's aircraft, delivered to the USAAF as AT-6C 42-43899 on May 3, 1943. In 1949 it was rebuilt as T-6G, and received new serial 49-3357. It went to the Spanish AF in 1957 as E.16-109, where it served until sold in auction in 1984. It then became N6593D in 1990 and underwent an extensive restoration in 1994-1997, as a "Super 6" modification with a 3-bladed prop. In the summer of 2000 the Texan came to Germany, where it now flies out of Bayreuth. The serial 493357 is carried in very small print below the tailplane.
