The FFA P-16 was a Swiss designed and built ground attack jet fighter. This was the last of five built before the project was cancelled after two were destoyed in accidents. This one is the only survivor of the type and made its first and last flights in 1960.

The P-16 was designed in Switzerland for close-support with short-field performance for Alpine strips. Test flights from 1955 proved promising, so a contract was awarded in 1958 for 100 aircraft. But the first pre-production machine crashed on 25.03.58, causing the government to cancel, buying Hunters from the UK instead. This is the last of five built, restored using parts from another prototype. The P-16 is sometimes dubbed Father of the Learjet, Bill Lear having used design concepts from the project
