The RWD-21 is a two-seat, cantilever low-wing wooded touring aircraft that was intended to be simple, cheap and easy to fly. This is the prototype and first flew in February 1939. At the outbreak of WWII five aircraft had been completed. In September 1939 this plane and SP-BRH were flown to Romania where they survived the war. In Romania SP-BRE was re-registered and flown as YR-VEN but returned in 1948 to Poland and became SP-AKG with the Warsaw Aeroklub. It joined this super museum in 1963 and was subsequently restored to its pre-WWII colour scheme and registration.

This aircraft is part of the Polish Aviation Museum. It was an all wooden aircraft, built in 1938, that to my mind bears a strong resemblance to to the Percival Gull 6. The registration carried is fictitious, though for what reason is a mystery, and it is in fact SP-AKG (cn 331) ex YR-AEZ.
