Correct registration is CR-LKR, sold to Varig by the Aero Club of Angola c1979 for display in the airlines planned museum at Porto Alegre. Painted to represent PP-VAN (c/n6449) which was delivered to Varig in July 1942 and flew the airlines first international service, from Porto Alegre to Montivideo in August 1942. By 2001 the aircraft was re-located for display at the Museu Aeroespacial at Campo Dos Afonsos.

Operated by the Aeroclub Rio Grande do Sul with sponsorship help from VARIG. When VARIG collapsed, sponsorship ended, the aircraft was sold and stored on a private airstrip close to city of Macoca in Sao Paulo state. It was being advertised for sale agian on the Trade-A-Plane Website in late 2020.
