This was a nice surprise for me during my brief visit to LHSS. After I asked the pilot if I could photograph his chariot, he agreed but insisted on closing all the doors. No problem, that's actually better for me.

This An-2 was first registered in April 1990 and is pictured about to be used as a parachute jump ship. For the past year or so the Hungarian AF has sub-contracted this plane in order to train military parachutists, the guys were preparing their gear out of shot. The number on the side is fictitious but the plane has this pseudo-military scheme in recognition of its new role.

A beautiful pink Cessna 182. As Alastair Gardiner has said, a big thank you to the friendly crew and parachutists for making this shot possible.

We called in to this small GA/glider field before heading to the museum in the city centre. The timing was perfect as this beautiful pink plane was being rolled out of the hangar and down the slope. Thanks to the friendly parachutists that let us take a few pictures.
