Olympic Airways had ten YS-11 on the Greek register. Two were returned after a short lease period; two were lost in accidents, and the rest of six were transferred to the Greek Air Force during 1980/1981. SX-BBK flew for the Air Force as "2144" and was retired at Athens-Hellenikon around 1994.

SX-BBG flew for Olympic between 1970 and 1980. Transferred to the Greek Air Force, the airliner performed military duties until its retirement at Elefsis Air Base. It was seen in derelict condition in 2009, and the again in 2012 with only the fuselage remaining.
