Segelflugplatz Achmer along the Mittellandkanal, seen looking south. The main strip, furthest from the camera, is 940 m/3085 ft long. Two short landing strips are marked as well, one on either side, and the longest line visible is the lane for glider winch launching. Landing here requires prior permission and when obtained, motorised light traffic is allowed as well.
