This nice looking 1947 Beech Bonanza is used as a training aid at New York City's Aviation High School.

This SNJ is probably SNJ-5 BuNo 85070, which was acquired by Aviation High School directly from the U.S. Navy from nearby NAS Floyd Bennett Field. It was at the school when I attended in the mid-1960s.

I believe this aircraft is most likely SNJ-5 N3674F/BuNo 84910. It's definitely well-worn as the result of its many years of use as a training airframe at New York's Aviation High School. It has been there since I was a student in the mid-1960s.

Now on display suspended from the ceiling of Aviation High School's hangar, this aircraft was on the floor and used as a training aid for prospective A&P mechanics when I attended the school in the mid-1960s.

Remanufactured from an earlier model T-6, this aircraft was issued serial number 49-3189 by the USAF and probably went to an FMS customer. It has been used as an aviation training aid at Aviation High School for MANY years. It was in use when I was a student at the school in the mid-1960s.
