First with the USAF as 49-3071, this Texan went to the Armée de l'Air in 1957. It was used for counter insurgency (COIN) operations in North Africa before retired. Acquired by Ejército del Aire in 1965 with serial E.16-195. Struck off strength in July 81, it was sold to Combat Aircraft Inc, Elkhart, IN as N2996Q in May 1982. Pictured arriving at AirVenture 2017, the aircraft suffered an accident landing at Chesapeake, VA on December 5, 2017. No injuries, but it veered off the runway and flipped over. The registration later expired and was officially cancelled on February 28, 2020.

Post war US Navy F4U-4 Corsair 97388 was sold out of storage to Bob Bean Aircraft in 1957 as N5211V. An arrangement was made with the Fuerza Aérea Hondureña to trade some aircraft for four airworthy Lockheed P-38L's and two flyable and two wrecked P-63E's in Honduras. This aircraft was delivered as FAH 610 in 1960. Mostly used as a source of parts, the broken down components of the fighter were repatriated to the USA in 1978. Through several collector owners, it was restored to flying condition and registered N72378 circa 1998.

The last de Havilland Canada Twin Otter rolled off the DHC production line in December 1988. In 2006, Viking Air bought the type certificates for DHC designs no longer in production. While providing parts and service for these aircraft, Viking chose in 2007 to put the Twin Otter back into production. The first series 400 aircraft flew in 2010. In 2016, the 100th Viking produced Twin Otter flew using the same registration as their first. The aircraft is operated by sister company Pacific Sky Aviation providing training for Viking Air customers.
