Built in 1980, delivered to Aeroflot's Kazakh division and transferred to Kazakstan Airlines by 1994 and Burundaiavia by 1999. Stored then ferried to ALA in December 2002 and next seen at SHJ in March 1994 with no titles. W/o on 7th June 2004 on a flight from El Fasher in Sudan to Geneina when it landed long and overshot the runway, shearing off the undercarriage

Based at the little-known secondary Almaty airfield of Burundai, since re-named Boraldai, this An-30 was first delivered to AFL/Kazakhstan in 6.78 and was one of a number seen that day. Prior to closing down in 2010, the company was only involved in helicopter operations and the Antonovs already looked pretty inactive by the time of this visit. Had a great Mil-8 flight up into the Kazakh alps from here same day
