On display at RAFM Hendon. Only Mohawk built to the order of Charles Lindbergh, who wanted a fast, long-range machine for use between capitals. Powered by a 200 hp Menasco Buccaneer B6S engine, it first flew on 22 Aug 1936. It was handed over to Lindbergh in Feb 37, who soon used it to fly to India with Anne, landing at Calcutta on 1 Mar 37. It returned to the UK in 1939 and was pressed into RAF service as HM503 in 1941. After the war it flew as a racer, being abandoned in Spain in 1950 after a flight. It was discovered in a junkyard in 1973 and underwent restoration in the USA and UK.

The Mohawk was one of the series of Miles Monoplanes including the Falcon, Whitney Straight, Hawk Trainer, and the Master and Magister trainers. It was a tandem two-seat cabin monoplane designed for Charles Lindbergh and this was the sole example built. It was written off in a landing accident in Spain in 1949 and the remains were found in a scrapyard in 1973. It was acquired by the RAF Museum in 2000 and has now been magnificently restored.
