From what I have been able to glean, SAF was not an airline but a Lithuanian wireless data transmission equipment manufacturer. It was most likely being operated on their behalf by an airline. However, there are conflicting reports as to whom the aircraft was registered to at the time. It could have been any one of three: Shonkar Airlines, Bashkirian Airlines or East Line Airlines.
