Named after a Turkish football team manager and former player. Sunways was a Turkish airline providing flights to the country's holiday resorts. They had a short existence, from March 1995 to October 1997.

No titles, turquoise fin, and named "Akumal". The latter two remain from a previous lease to Aerocancun, a Mexican airline of which Oasis were part-owners.

Sunways was a charter airline consisting of sister companies Sunways Airlines A.B., based in Stockholm, Sweden, and SUNWAY Intersun Havacilik Anonim Sirketi, based at Istanbul-Atatürk and Antalya, Turkey. The airline was in operation from March 1995 to October 1997. Note that the titles on this photo is Sunway, but on photo 70438 it is Sunways. Leased from Irish Aerospace Apr 95 to Jul 97. To Meridiana Mar 98 as EI-CKM. Seen stored Marana AZ Nov 2011.

Later owned by 'Airplanes IAL Finance Ltd' who leased it to 'Meridiana' as EI-CKM.

Leased from the Mexican airline Aérocancun (ex XA-RPH) for the 1991 holiday season, this aircraft still carries the name "Akumal" on the nose, after the Mexican beach resort. It would return to Aérocancun in Dec 1991.
