D-9389 built 1966, later to Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe. The BS-1 was designed by Björn Stender as a development of the Akaflieg Braunschweig SB-6 and was considered the best glider at the time. Two were built by him before it was taken into series production by Glasflügel
