One Breda Ba.15S was on the Czechoslovak team in the 1932 Challenge International de Tourisme, powered by the new Walter Junior four-cylinder inline engine. Clearly it was sponsored by the Czech engine maker. It was not successful, scoring zero points in the speed trial. Photo likely taken during the event - is the tall control tower at Berlin - Staaken? The Ba.15 already equipped the Italian team in the 1929 edition of the Challenge. Many Ba.15S aircraft were powered by Walter radial engines. Photo from: National Library of the Czech Republic
