The Sécurite Civile introduced the Alouette III helicopter in June of 1962 and operated a total of 38 units. From 2001, the Alouette III fleet was gradually replaced by the EC145, with one of the last Alouette IIIs (F-ZBAN, c/n 1115) being flown to the Air & Space Museum in Le Bourget on May 16, 2009. F-ZBAJ shown here in Annecy was one of the last ones delivered around 1978 and remained in service till around 2007, when it became F-GUFC with a private operator.
