Returning from a demonstration flight at the Teuge Air Fair 2025.

From all the aircraft that could be seen today, this one was probably my favorite. Based on the original 1929 design, the A50 has been given a new life as an ultralight aircraft and comes as A50 Junior and A50 Heritage, with a few customizations available for each. According to their website they also offer an A60, which comes with a fixed and retractable tricycle gear. The c/n was confirmed from official paperwork which I saw during this event.

A very cool ultralight type - a full-scale replica of the 1929 Junkers Junior. Many potential customers regretted the Rotax engine apparently and a radial-engined version has followed.

The modern variant of the Junior has a Rotax engine, but is now also available with a more authentic radial: the Czech Verner Scarlett 7H. D-MJUJ is on the left.
